Creative@Work recently secured the dotCOMM Gold Award for Best Digital Development for our work on Inspire AccessAbility (formerly the Halton Community Resource Fair). By pivoting from a localized event into a year-round digital resource, we provided the branding, naming, and marketing infrastructure necessary to scale a community mission into a digital authority.
The Vision: Why “Inspiration” Was the Foundation
When we set out to rebrand the Halton Community Resource Fair, we weren’t just looking for a catchy name. We were looking for a philosophy.
At Creative@Work, we believe that everything is possible when we are inspired. This core belief became the catalyst for the name Inspire AccessAbility. We wanted to move away from the clinical feel of a “resource fair” and move toward a digital movement that empowers the disability community through hope, action, and connection.
This strategic shift is what led us to win the dotCOMM Gold Award for Best Digital Development.
Developing a Name with Purpose
The transition to Inspire AccessAbility was rooted in two specific goals:

Removing Barriers: The word “Access” represents the physical and digital entry to services, but “Ability” represents the human potential.

The “Inspiration” Engine: By leading with the word Inspire, we set a new standard for the brand’s digital tone. It shifted the focus from “finding help” to “achieving the impossible.”
The Task: A Full-Scale Digital Transformation
To honor the weight of the new name, we developed a comprehensive marketing ecosystem designed for growth and accessibility.

Brand Development: We created a visual identity that felt as uplifting as the name—utilizing vibrant, accessible colors and imagery that highlights success stories.

Digital Infrastructure: We built a custom digital hub where families can access resources 365 days a year. The development included a searchable directory and integrated vendor portals to ensure the site was a functional tool, not just a static page.

Omni-Channel Marketing: To launch the new “Inspiration” philosophy, we developed everything from digital email funnels to physical event banners, ensuring the brand message was consistent across every touchpoint.
